NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Ngorongoro conservation area was established in 1959 with an area covering approximately 8292sq.km as a multiple land that addresses wildlife conservation. The Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania famous for a  density of game, with permanent population of more than 30,000 animal,  is the largest intact caldera in the world. UNESCO categorized Ngorongoro as one of Heritage site in the world and man and biosphere reserve, Is the one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles its magic setting and abundant of wildlife never failing to enthral visitors. However the crater is just small part of Ngorongoro conservation area which offers a whole range of attraction for adventures traveller.

The Migration one of the world most amazing is the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of plain animal , principally wildebeest and zebra in clockwise direction through the NCA, into the Serengeti, the Maasai Mara, and back into Ngorongoro again in search of fresh grazing and water as the season change. The animal usually move out of Ngorongoro around may when the Serengeti receives its rainfall and start returning to Ngorongoro around late November

Ndutu

Is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in the south-eastern plains of the Serengeti ecosystem. The plains around Ndutu are the main holding ground for migratory animals where vast herds congregate and linger for more than four months, from December to April, before they start moving across the Serengeti in search of greener pastures and water. Ndutu area forms an important part of the Serengeti ecosystem,
